Executive Officer

Chief Warrant Officer 5 (CWO5) Joseph Banks enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in October 1997 and has served for over 28 years on active duty. He was promoted to Warrant Officer 1 February 2006 and completed the Warrant Officer Basic Course in May 2006. His extensive service includes overseas assignments in Europe and Japan, as well as three combat deployments supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. CWO5 Banks also served aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) from 2004 to 2005. In November 2024, he joined the USNSCC Pentagon Division and was subsequently assigned as the unit’s Executive Officer in April 2025.
