Recruiting Officer

Gary Dawson has been a government contractor for many years in missile defense, emergency planning, and business operations. He joined Sea Cadets in 2019, serving as Training Officer and with boat ops.  He served as the CO of the Pentagon Division at Dahlgren, VA , from Feb 2022 to June 2025.  He is currently the Recruiting Officer. Gary has also served as a US Coast Guard Auxiliary member since Dec 1996, in command, boat ops, instruction, and vessel safety checks.
